Holy & Great Monastery of Vatopedi extends charitable works to Tanzania Orthodox diocese

The Friends of the Bukoba Holy Mission in Tanzania this week extended their warm thanks and appreciation to the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi on Mount Athos for accepting an appeal by the Bukoba Bishopric of the Patriarchate of Alexandria, by which the Monastery covers the humble monthly salaries of the latter’s clergymen.
A post expressed gratitude to the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the abbot of the venerable Mt. Athos monastery, and to all of Vatopedi’s Elders, for their support and consolation to the “…porters of Christ in Bukoba”.
