The Holy Relics of St. John Vladimir were returned on Monday to a monastery dedicated to the saint in central Albania.
The Holy Relics had been kept at the national history museum in Tirana.
The Archbishop of Elbasan, His Eminence Antonios, welcomed the translation of the Holy Relics of the saint to the monastery, a beacon of Orthodoxy in Albania as well as throughout the Balkans.
The Holy Relics were accompanied and returned by the country’s culture minister and the museum’s director, while Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama was also present.
