The award-winning devotional film “Man of God”, which is based on the life, works and tribulations of St. Nektarios of Aegina, continues its successful journey around the world.
“Man of God” will be shown in selected movie theaters in France, beginning on March 10.
The film, directed by Yelena Popovic and with Greek actor Aris Servetalis in the lead role, also features a star-studded cast of Greek and international actors, including Mickey Rourke and Alexander Petrov.
The international production has already set summer ticket sales records in Greece and Cyprus, while opening to positive reviews by film critics and audiences in Russia and Serbia.
The film picked up the Audience Award at the 43rd Moscow International Film Festival, as well as the corresponding award at the Greek Film Festival of Los Angeles.
Moreover, it was awarded the Best International Film distinction at the Siena Film Festival.
