On Sunday afternoon, 12 March 2023, at the Parish of the Three Hierarchs in Clayton, Melbourne, the 3rd Lenten Vespers took place, officiated by His Grace Bishop Prodromos of Toliara and South Madagascar, of the Patriarchate of Alexandria, who was joined by His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, the Archiepiscopal Vicar of Melbourne.
Present also for the vepers was the Parish Priest, Father Haralambos Pyrelis, and other clergymen from the Archdiocesan District of Melbourne, while at the chanters stand, Father Palladios, a monk from the Holy Skete of Saint Panteleimon of the Holy Monastery of Koutloumousiou on Mount Athos, chanted the hymns for the vespers, along with the many members of the byzantine choir.
Addressing the faithful who had attended the Lenten Vespers, His Grace Bishop Prodromos, expressed his deep respect for His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, as well as his heartfelt thanks for His Eminence’s constant love and support throughout his visit to Australia.
