A memorial service was held over the weekend at the Orthodox Cathedral of St. George in Cape Town, South Africa, for the fallen and victims of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974.
The service was attended by the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa’s Archbishop of the Cape of Good Hope, His Eminence Sergios, who also officiated at the preceding Divine Liturgy.
