On the occasion of the Name Day of Metropolitan Epiphanios of Kyiv and all Ukraine, Metropolitan Emmanuel of France, together with Rev. Dn. Gregorios from the Phanar, traveled to Ukraine.
In the context of this visit, both representatives from the Ecumenical Patriarchate met with former Metropolitan Filaret (Denysenko), who once again expressed his gratitude to Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew for his paternal love and affection for the Ukrainian people, as well as for the defense of the historical responsibilities of the Throne of Constantinople.
