Amid a festal atmosphere, the Greek ambassador to Egypt, Nikolaos Garilidis, had the honor of cutting and handing out pieces of the “Vassilopita” to those in attendance.
The event was held in the main ceremonial hall of the Greek diplomatic mission, and attended, among others, by the Consul General of Greece in Egypt, Maria Zissi, and the director of the Hellenic Cultural Center of Cairo, Christos Papadopoulos.
