The Metropolitan of Patras, His Eminence Chrysostomos, officiated at this year Con-celebratory service for the Synaxis of the Vatopedi Saints, celebrated at the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi.
In addressing the assembled Elders and pilgrims at the venerable monastery’s Synodal Hall, His Beatitude referred to the meaning of Saints in our lives, while making a particular reference to the Elder Gervasios Paraskevopoulos, citing the Patras native’s rich spiritual and pastoral works in that western Greece port city.
