The Metropolitan of Volokolamsk, His Eminence Hilarion, arrived in Spain this week for an official visit, with a blessing of His Holiness, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
Hilarion, the head of the Moscow Patriarchate’s department for external church relations (DECR), also met with the Russian ambassador to Madrid, Yuri Korchagin, with talks revolving on the pastoral needs of Russian expatriates in Spain and other issues of mutual concern.
