The new President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christoudoulides, arrived in Athens on Monday for his first official visit to the country in his capacity as the island republic’s head of state.
Christodoulides was scheduled to have meetings with Greek leadership throughout the official visit, while on Tuesday he will be received by the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos.
