A new Orthodox church is being built in Albania, dedicated to Saint Lazarus in the village of Stermén in the Elbasan region. The new structure is rising on the site of a small, dilapidated building, marking a significant step in strengthening local religious life.
The parish has appealed to the faithful for support, and parishioners are responding according to their means, viewing the construction of another church as an important pillar for sustaining and renewing their faith.
Meanwhile, at the Monastery of Boboshtica in Korça, work is underway on a guesthouse intended for the accommodation of pilgrims. The project is being overseen by the monastery’s priest, Fr. Michael Sanellari, with the blessing of the Metropolitan of Korça.
In recent years, the monastery has grown significantly: conferences are held there, and it receives a steady flow of pilgrims. As a result, the need for hospitality facilities has become increasingly evident.
