Archbishop Hieronymos of Athens and All Greece said older citizens and people in vulnerable groups must “hastily” be vaccinated against the coronavirus, in statements to national broadcaster ERT on Saturday.
“The notion of Christian Love means just that: protecting our fellow human beings by protecting ourselves,” he added.
“We, all of us, the elderly, must trust the medical experts and not hesitate to be inoculated, so that we become the protective barrier which will prevent the broader dispersal of the virus,” he underlined.
