Orthodox Christians in Syria depend on Russia for the reconstruction of destroyed Churches

Proto-Exarchos Alexis, the director of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch’s department of Ecumenical Relations and Development, this week said Orthodox Christians in Syria are depending on the support of Russia for the reconstruction of Churches and monasteries destroyed by jihadist terrorists, during the eight-year war in the Mideast country.
