On Thursday, August 15, 2918, after his pastoral visit at Panagia Paramythia in Mokongolo, His Grace Bishop Silvester made a quick visit to Kanapa Orthodox community about 30km from Mukongoro where he conducted small vespers with the faithful. This community is one of the fastest new and growing Orthodox centers in the region and as of now they have managed to build a small chapel since its initiation late 2017 when about 70 people converted to Orthodoxy through the mystery of baptism done by the then Archmandrite Silvester Kisitu. Currently they are over 200 Orthodox Christians.

Earlier, His Grace Bishop Silvester was on his second pastoral visit to Mukongolo Panagia Paramythias Orthodox Parish (Holy Mother of God the Comforter) where he celebrated the feast of Dormition of Theotokos and also presided over his first Divine Liturgy in this parish since enthroned as Bishop.
