The third day reached its peak with the encounter with His Beatitude Patriarch John X. In a warm and fatherly meeting, His Beatitude sat among the youth, inquired after their well‑being, and listened attentively to their reflections on what they had experienced during the “Ana Icon” gathering. He also listened to them as they performed the hymn of the meeting, offered with joy and reverence.
In his address, His Beatitude underscored that our love for others is the very foundation of our love for God, and that our love for Christ is inseparable from our love for one another. He exhorted the youth to live with a faith free from fear, affirming that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. He further emphasized the importance of young people from the various Syrian archdioceses coming together as children of the One Church.
This memorable day had begun with the Divine Liturgy, followed by a journey “behind the scenes of artificial intelligence” with Dr. Khalil Ajami. It concluded with Vespers, presided over by His Beatitude, which prepared the way for the fatherly encounter with the youth.
From this day—beyond the knowledge and experiences it imparted—remained the warmth of a paternal meeting, through which the youth felt love and care, and knew themselves to be present in the heart of their father.
