Palm Sunday services were held with centuries-old Athonite rite at the Holy & Great Monastery of Vatopedi.
After the Divine Liturgy, a litany of the Holy Relics preserved at the Monastery was solemnly held, led by the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy & Great Monastery of Vatopedi, and with the participation of Vatopedi fathers.
After the conclusion of the Holy Litany, before the entrance of the Catholicos, the main cathedral of the monastery, the Gospel scripture of the triumphant entry of the Lord and Savior into Jerusalem was read out.
