On Sunday, 15th June 2025, His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain visited the Church of All Saints in Camden for the celebration of the parish’s patronal feast, marking the Sunday of All Saints.
His Eminence presided at the Divine Liturgy, concelebrating with the Revd Protopresbyter Georgios Zafeirakos, parish priest, and assisted by the Revd Archdeacon George Tsourous. The church was filled with faithful, gathered to honour the cloud of saints who have shone forth in the light of Christ.
In his homily, the Archbishop reflected on the universal call to holiness and the courage of the Saints who bore witness across every age and place. He encouraged the congregation to draw strength from their example and continue to cultivate a life of sanctity within their families and community.
Following the Liturgy, the parish hosted a joyful celebration in honour of the feast, with traditional souvlakia, children’s games, dancing, and shared tables of food and fellowship – a living expression of Orthodox koinonia and community joy.
His Eminence offered his paternal blessings and expressed gratitude to Fr George, the Parish Council, and all volunteers and faithful for their hospitality, service, and commitment to parish life.
The Archdiocese rejoices with the parish of All Saints, Camden, and prays that through the intercessions of all the Saints, the faithful may continue to grow in grace and strength.
