Patriarch John X of Antioch presided over the Great Akathist Service at Our Lady of Balamand Patriarchal Monastery.
The prayer was attended by the Greek Ambassador to Lebanon, Her Excellency Mrs. Catherine Fountoulaki. His Beatitude thanked the Ambassador for her presence, which reflects the depth and historical relations between the Patriarchate of Antioch and the Greek Church on the one hand, and with the Greek state on the other hand.
