His Beatitude John X, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, received a phone call from Greek Foreign Minister His Excellency Nikos Dendias. His Excellency expressed his condolences and those of the Greek government and people for the victims of the devastating earthquake. The minister stressed that Greece stands by the Church of Antioch in the ordeal. His Beatitude expressed His gratitude to the Minister and His appreciation for Greece’s solidarity with the Antiochian Church and stressed the depth of the relationship between the Antiochian Church and Greece.
