His Beatitude John X, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, received Mr. Alexander Rudakov, the Russian Ambassador in Beirut.
The meeting took place in the Patriarchal Residence in Balamand and included an overview of the general situation in Lebanon and the region while confirming the historical relations between Russia and the Antiochian Orthodox Church.
It is should be noted that this is the first visit of the Russian ambassador, Rudakov, since he assumed his diplomatic responsibilities in Lebanon.
