Patriarch of Alexandria receives Metropolitan of Tripoli, expresses hope for normalization in war-ravaged Libya

The Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, this week received the Orthodox Metropolitan of Tripoli-Libya, His Eminence Theofylaktos, at the Patriarchal seat in Alexandria. The Patriarch cited what he called the very significant contribution of the Metropolitan towards the restoration of the Greek Orthodox Cathedrals in Cairo, as well as in the Libyan cities of Benghazi and Tripoli.
