The Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Beatitude Theodoros II, on Sunday decorated the outgoing consul general of Greece in Cairo, Maria Zisi, with the Medal of the Order of St. Savvas the Sanctified.
The solemn ceremony was held at the Synodal and Patriarchal Monastery of St. George in Cairo.
In his address, the Prelate of the Church of Alexandria praised the Greek diplomat for her work, and thanked her for the excellent cooperation they enjoyed during the two years of her posting in the ancient land of Egypt.
