The Patriarch of All Romania referred to the late Elder Metropolitan Ioannis as a wise hierarch, with a particularly prolific academic presence as a professor of Orthodox dogma and theology.
The Elder Metropolitan of the Mother Church reposed on Thursday at the age of 92.
