Patriarch of Bulgaria Neofyt calls on faithful to pray for end to bloodshed around the world

The Patriarch of Bulgaria, His Holiness Neofyt, this week commented and condemned what he called the bloodshed occurring around the world.
In a pastoral encyclical issued ahead of the great Feast Day of the Dormition of the Theotokos, the Virgin Mary, His Holiness calls on the faithful to pray, while reminding that fasting and prayer are a Christian’s most potent weapons.
