The Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Theophilos III, on Monday received a group of Serbian pilgrims led by the Bishop of Sabac, His Grace Jerotej, who conveyed the fraternal best wishes of the Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije.
In his greeting, the Patriarch of Jerusalem referred to the testimony of the Holy Land in the modern age, while conveying a message of love and peace.
On his part, His Grace Jerotej cited the Serbian people’s centuries of Orthodox tradition, uninterrupted since the time of St. Sava the Enlightener, as he said, who visited the Holy Land twice in the 13th century.
