The Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Most Godly Beatitude Theophilos III, received best wishes from the Patriarch of Russia and All Moscow, His Holiness Kirill, on the occasion of the name of the former, as the Jerusalem Patriarchate on Sunday celebrated the feast day of Holy Forty Martyrs of Lake Sebastia, based on the Julian calendar.
One of the 40 Holy Martyrs was named Theophilos.
The congratulatory letter was read out in the Patriarchate Reception Hall following the Divine Liturgy and a Doxology service.
