The Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Theophilos III, this week received Greece’s visiting climate crisis and political protection minister, Christos Stylianides, and members of a ministry delegation on an official visit to Israel.
Stylianides and members of the delegation, accompanied by Greek diplomats accredited to Israel, were warmly received by His Beatitude and the Hagiotaphite Fathers.
Discussions included the role of the venerable Patriarchate as a guardian of the Holy Christian shrines and places of worship, the Patriarchate’s long-standing relationship with the Church of Cyprus, as well as role of the Patriarchate in maintaining the ecclesiastical unity from the Holy Sepulcher.
