The Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Irinej, again expressed his concern over the threats faced by the Orthodox faithful in the region, especially in Kosovo and Metohija.
He also referred to his meeting this week with both the president of Serbia and the current chairman of the tripartite Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In Tbilisi, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness Ilie II, received a delegation of Athens university theology students. The delegation was led by Athens Univ. theology prof. Christos Karagiannis.
According to an announcement by the Georgian Patriarchate, Karagiannis presented Ilie with his recently published scholarly book, on the subject of Jerusalem and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
