The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, on Sunday officiated at a historic archieratical Divine Liturgy at the Church-school congregation of St. Sava, in Manhattan.
The emotional ecclesiastical service for the Serbian Orthodox laity and clergy was the first held at the New York City cathedral after seven years, in the wake of a destructive fire on Easter Saturday in 2016. The service crowned the successful pastoral visit of His Holiness to the United States.
