The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, on Monday continued a pastoral visit there.
His Holiness visited the medieval town of Herceg Novi on the occasion of the great feast day of the Dormition of the Theotokos, based on the Julian calendar, and to attend celebrations for the 640th anniversary of its establishment.
While in the historic town, the Serbian Patriarch was honored with the medal of the Order of St. Stefan of Herceg Novi by the city’s mayor.
