The Patriarch of Serbia, His Beatitude Porfirije, on Thursday inaugurated an international conference commemorating the centennial of the creation of the Patriarchate of Serbia.
The conference opened at the Belgrade School of Theology.
The Primate of the Serbian Church underlined, in his address, that despite repeated challenges, the Patriarchate and the Church, in general, remains the foundation upon which the identity of the Serbian Orthodox faithful is built.
