The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, met with the country’s president, Alexander Vucic, on Sunday — with talks focusing directly on recent developments in Kosovo & Metohija.
The meeting followed unproductive talks in Brussels between Serbian leadership and the leaders of the Kosovo Albanians, following an invitation by the EU’s top diplomat, Josep Borrell.
On his part, the Serbian Patriarch expressed the Church’s commitment, in cooperation with the state and the Serbian people, to do everything in its power to maintain peace between Serbs and Albanians in Kosovo & Metohija.
