On Tuesday, April 23, 2019, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, welcomed the Hon. Demetris Syllouris, the President of the House of Representatives in Cyprus, to the Patriarchate of Alexandria. Mr. Syllouris is on an official visit to Egypt; during his meeting with Patriarch Theodoros, his wife Antigoni Nicolaidou, the Ambassador of Cyprus to Egypt, and the Consul General of Greece in Alexandria, were also present.
Readers will note that Patriarch Theodoros was himself in Cyprus last week for a meeting of four primates hosted by Archbishop Chrysostomos of Cyprus.
