On Thursday, 6 March 2025, following the Great Compline service, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presided over a memorial service (Trisagion) for the repose of the soul of the late Metropolitan Theodoritos of Elaia. The service took place at the Patriarchal Church of Saint George, in the presence of Hierarchs of the Ecumenical Throne, clergy of the Patriarchal Court, and pilgrims from Piraeus, Thessaloniki, and Lefkada.
The funeral service for the late hierarch will be held on Monday, 10 March 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Church of St. Nicholas of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Athens. His Eminence Metropolitan Theodoritos of Laodicea, Director of the Representative Office of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Athens, will represent the Ecumenical Patriarch.
The burial will take place the following day on Tuesday, 11 March 2025, at 1:30 p.m., at the Patriarchal and Stavropegic Monastery of Vlatadon, where the late Hierarch once served as Abbot.
