The Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Beatitude Theodoros II, concluded a visit to the Vatican this week by meeting with Egypt’s envoy to the city-state, Mahmoud Ali Talaat.
A reception in honor of His Beatitude was later held by the International Trust of St. Gilles at a central Rome cathedral.
Patriarch Theodore II made an official visit to the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church at the invitation of the Pope of Rome, Francis, who also received him.
