The Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, on the Sunday of All Saints officiated at the Divine Liturgy at the Church of St. Savvas the Blessed in Nicosia, a cathedral of the ancient Patriarchate’s Exarchate on the east Mediterranean island.
His Grace Bishop Nikodimos, the Patriarchate of Alexandria’s Exarch of Cyprus, co-officiated.
During the eucharistic synaxis, the Patriarch of Alexandria preached the Holy Scriptures, while referring to the great feast day of the Sunday of All Saints, which marks the end of Pentecost.
His Most Divine Beatitude expressed joy in again returning to the Holy Mother of Cyprus, whose faithful remain committed to supporting the difficult missionary and humanitarian work of the Alexandria Patriarchate throughout Africa.
