A day before the commemoration of the Day of Chinese Neomartyrs, Orthodox priest Chzhan Dimitry Linsen led a prayer service at the St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral in the Russian Far East city of Blago-vesh-chensk, with numerous Orthodox Chinese worshippers who live in the Amur region in attendance.
Among others, Father Dimitry’s sermon referred to the 222 Orthodox Chinese martyrs that were during an anti-Christian pogrom in 1900.
