Only a couple days remain before the re-dedication of the renovated Sts. Constantine and Helen Orthodox Cathedral in Cairo.
Thousands of worshippers, including pilgrims from Greece, are expected to attend the re-dedication ceremony of the historic cathedral on Saturday, officiated by the Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Divine Beatitude Theodoros II.
A concert by Greek composer Evanthia Rebutsika will be held the previous evening, following a celebratory Divine Liturgy.
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will be represented by Deputy Education and Religious affairs minister Sofia Zacharaki.
