The Metropolis of Edessa, Pella and Almopias, in northern Greece, has announced that Holy Services will take place on Wednesday and Thursday for the recovery and placement of the holy relics of Kallinikos, the reposed Metropolitan of Edessa, the newest saint of the Orthodox Church.
The Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate canonized Metropolitan Kallinikos last June.
