The Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, His Holiness Kirill, on Tuesday received the ambassador of Lebanon to Russia, Chawki Bou Nassar, at the Danilov Monastery of Moscow.
The Primate of the Moscow Patriarchate referred to the fraternal relations between the Orthodox Christians of Russia and Lebanon, adding that the Russian Orthodox Church is ready to boost these ties.
On his part, the Lebanese diplomat said the country is practically the only state in the Middle East where representatives of all faiths are granted equal rights.
