Summary:
Prodromos Eznepidis, the father of little Arsenios (Saint Paisios), tries to manage the situations and the problems that arise, but without his spiritual father, Elder Arsenios, it is not easy. And while he is ready to give up, his wife Evlogia shows her mental strength and wisdom, she supports him and helps him not to give up. 22 months after arriving in Corfu, the refugees leave again, this time for Plataria, in Thesprotia. There, Prodromos faces great difficulties in keeping his fellow villagers united, and some – feeling disappointed and betrayed by the government – leave, to find a place to settle. A few months later, the Eznepidis family and fifty other families arrive at the place where they will call «second home», in the land of Epirus, in Konitsa.
