As part of the 4th Medical Week in honor of St. Luke the Evangelist Physician and the 28th series of events dedicated to the Apostle Paul, a one-day seminar was held on Tuesday at the premises of the Holy Monastery of the Panaghia of Dovra, near the northern Greece city of Veria.
The one-day seminar was entitled “A Spiritual Father’s Ministry Amid Periods of Crisis”.
The seminar was opened by the Archieratical Vicar of Vergina Archimandrite Jeremiah, with the resident Metropolitan, His Eminence Panteleimon, greeting participants in a brief introduction.
Speakers included the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi, who addressed the topic of “St. Luke the Physician and the Crises of His Era”.
Also addressing the seminar was Protopresbyter Fr. Spyridon Vasilakos, of the Holy Metropolis of Thebes, Livadia and Avlidos, who broached the topic of “The Role of the Spiritual Father in Family Crises.”
