The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, on Thursday received Petar Petkovic, the director of the Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija. The Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church was briefed on issues of key importance for the survival of the Serbian people and cultural legacy in Kosovo.
Patriarch Porfirije expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between the Serbian Church with the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, especially in relation to the support of churches and monasteries, as well as for the priests, monks and nuns who steadfastly remain in the Serbian nation’s cradle of civilization.
