The Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Irinej, visited the Basilica of St. Stephen, in the Hungarian capital. He also paid a courtesy visit to the Serbian embassy in Budapest.
In Strasbourg, the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Kirill, on Sunday officiated at the Divine Liturgy held at All Saints Orthodox Church in the city.
“…today is a historic event for the Orthodox faithful who live in Strasbourg,” the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia said afterwards, while adding his conviction that the new cathedral will serve as a place of cooperation between Orthodoxy and the Catholic church in France.
