Shocking figures and reports continue to emerge this week over the deaths and persecution of Christians worldwide, with a latest estimate being 90,000 deaths alone in 2018.
Some 600 million Christian faithful around the world were prevented, in some form or another, from exercising their faith as they choose.
One-third of the Christian victims of religious fanatics were slain by Islamists, such as the so-called ISIS in the Middle East. Additionally, persecution continued around the world, notably the harsh treatment dealt to Christians by the North Korean communist dictatorship.
