An Orthodox priest in the Medan region of northern Sumatra, Fr. Chrysostomos Manulu, has overseen for the past 18 years a major humanitarian and missionary effort, establishing a hospital, 10 Orthodox churches, six schools and a seminary that teaches ancient Greek, among others.
