Six hierarchs of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Cyprus are the official candidates to succeed reposed Archbishop Chrysostomos II on the Throne of the Church.
The beloved Archbishop reposed in the Lord earlier this month at the age of 81.
Specifically, the candidates – all eligible under the 2010 charter of the Church of Cyprus – are the Metropolitans of Limassol, Constantia and Ammohostos, Paphos, Tamassos, Morphou and Kyrenia, Athanasios, Vassilios, Georgios, Isiah, Neofytos and Chrysostomos, respectively.
