The greater part of construction for the new St. Savva Orthodox Church in the Botswana capital of Gaborone is complete. The church is the second in Africa continent to be built by the Serbian Orthodox Church.
The Patriarch of Serbia, HIs Holiness Irinej has personally blessed the church during his recent visit to Africa, where he referred to the significance of the new Orthodox place of worship in Botswana.
