The Church today commemorates the Synaxis, or assembly, of The Three Hierarchs: Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian and John Chrysostom. Every Jan. 30th marks a special day in the Greek Orthodox world, as the occasion also commemorates the world-inspiring legacy of Greek Letters and learning.
A video has been posted today on Pemptousia television showing the greeting by the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, towards participants of an online celebratory event organized by the Orthodox Academy of Crete in January 2021, on the occasion of the Synaxis of The Three Hierarchs.
