On Tuesday, 24th September / 7th October 2025, the Patriarchate celebrated the commemoration of Saint Thekla, the First Martyr and Equal to the Apostles, who came from Iconium of Asia Minor. She became a disciple of the Apostle Paul, abandoned her betrothed Thamyris, endured torments for Christ in Antioch and other places, preached Christ, and when a rock was rent asunder, it covered her. Having retired to her homeland, she fell asleep in the Lord at the age of ninety.

Her commemoration was celebrated at her chapel adjoining the Holy Monastic Church of Saints Constantine and Helen, with Great Vespers in the evening and the Divine Liturgy in the morning, presided over in prayer by His Beatitude our Father and Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos, and concelebrated by the Priests of Saint Constantine, with the participation in prayer of the Hierarchs and Hieromonks of the Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood.

After Vespers, according to custom, boiled wheat and rusks with wine were offered in the courtyard, and following the Divine Liturgy, refreshments were served in the Epitropikon.
